Toilet Training Problems
Inappropriate toileting within the home is sure to cause upset and annoyance, and this requires a careful approach to ensure that your own reaction does not worsen the problem. Some dogs are simply left too long to manage the need to relieve themselves, whilst others may be taking longer than expected to truly click into place re staying dry and clean in the home once out of puppyhood.
I have seen many dogs that simply will not toilet away from the home, and this may present a problem for you depending on your circumstances.
Be sure not to confuse toilet training (or potty training as some people say...though I have never seen a dog use a potty...yet) with inappropriate marking in the home which is more to do with territorial behaviour and marking within that area.
