In the right set of circumstances, this product can be an extremely effective method to interrupt unwanted behaviours such as serious lack of recall, certain types of aggressive behaviour, stealing from bins or worktops, or excessive barking in certain situations. The list is long and varied.
A 300-metre range outside, and I have found a good reception when used indoors. The unit is waterproof and rugged. Very high quality and made in America. Fully boxed, with clear instructions and all the accessories (waist bag included) making it ready to work out of the box. Please note that whilst this is not an electric collar (it simply emits a short blast of compressed air under the chin), its use should be further to an assessment of the dog by me, or prior discussion with me. Like any product, it could be used in an inappropriate way- causing unnecessary stress to your dog. This spray collar should not be used with overtly nervous dogs for example, nor a dog that is not fit to sustain an interruption of this kind. Canac Training Chew Spray
This spray has the strongest deterring odour and taste I have encountered. Perfect to prevent unwanted chewing on furniture, or even spray it on your hands and forearms prior to interacting with a mouthing puppy.
Ideal when used in combination with the house training line. Spray the line and then place it on your puppy to control unruly behaviour in the home. The spray on the lead will deter mouthing and chewing. £ 5.00

Scullcap & Valerian
This product is my ‘go to’ for the supporting of nervous anxious behaviours I see. A licensed herbal medicine for the symptomatic relief of anxiety, nervousness, excitability and travel sickness, and an adjunct in the treatment of epilepsy in dogs and cats. The ultimate herbal combination in a sugar-coated tablet, invaluable to calm and relax dogs and cats suffering from excitability, apprehension, phobias or hyperactivity. Widely used and particularly effective for those suffering from noise phobias as a result of fireworks, thunderstorms or gunfire. Does not cause drowsiness or impair normal behaviour or performance, making it suitable for those who just need to be settled for showing, travelling, training or obedience work.
Given before a journey this tablet will calm nervous travellers but is also ideal if new surroundings and situations cause apprehension or anxiety, making it a useful training aid for young dogs being introduced to the show ring as well as thunderstorms, fireworks, visits to the vet etc. Under veterinary supervision Scullcap & Valerian tablets are used in the control of epilepsy, often in conjunction with orthodox anti-convulsant drugs. Not recommended for pregnant or lactating females. Can safely be used along side DAP products and of course behaviour modification. Give 1 to 2 tablets per 5KG body weight per day. Choose either 200-tablet bottle size, or 500-tablet bottle size. I usually keep a dog on this product for 2-3 months as an initial course.

D.A.P. Diffuser
Dog Appeasing Pheromone can be the perfect solution to help ease an anxious dog under noise stress such as fireworks, or can help calm a new puppy with initial separation stress from the litter. The screw in bottle lasts 30 days with constant use, and designed to be placed in a room covering 50 to 70 square metres. For dogs that sleep in a variety of locations, the collar may be better suited; please see the DAP Collar for this. This product like other calming measures you see for sale here should not be seen as a solution in itself, and should be combined with behavioural modification specific to your dog and family.

D.A.P. Collar
The same product as released by the DAP diffuser is impregnated into a simple rubberised collar, and can be left on the dog for one month. Ideal if your dog has multiple sleeping spaces, and releasing DAP into a single room proves difficult.

If any product purchased from Alpha Dog Behaviour is found to be damaged in transit we will either replace or refund the product at the customers discretion provided we are notified within 14 Days of delivery. All returns must be notified to AlphaDogBehaviour.co.uk prior to return within 14 days of delivery of the product.
In the event of a customer ordering an item from Alpha Dog Behaviour in error and through no fault of Alpha Dog Behaviour we will be pleased to replace or refund the item provided that the original item is returned to Alpha Dog Behaviour at the customers expense within 14 days unused and in saleable condition. in cases where the customer is either unable or unwilling to arrange return carriage after mistakenly purchasing a product, Alpha Dog Behaviour reserves the right to charge an uplift fee to cover the cost of employing a courier company to collect the item from the customer. In cases where an order is returned, we reserve the right to retain the cost of the outward carriage.
